Ipsotek is delighted to announce that it has been selected as a finalist for the 2024 US Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) in the category of “Outstanding New Security Product” for its groundbreaking new A.I.V.A Engine's NLS feature.
What is the Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs)?
The OSPAs is a prestigious global industry award recognizing excellence and innovation in security products and services. The OSPAs are designed to be both independent and inclusive, providing an opportunity for outstanding performers, whether buyers or suppliers, to be recognised and their success to be celebrated.
Finalists will now go forward to the next phase of the competition and winners will be revealed on Sunday 22nd September at Global Security Exchange (GSX) which is taking place in Orlando, Florida.
Professor Martin Gill, founder of the OSPAs, commented, “This year we have seen our highest number of entries and the judges have had an arduous task in scoring nominations and selecting the finalists. All those that have been chosen represent the very best in the industry and should be very proud.”

The new feature in Ipsotek’s A.I.V.A Engine announced in April integrates Natural Language Search (NLS) into Ipsotek’s VISuite platform, marking a significant advancement in Computer Vision and Video Analysis development and innovation. NLS empowers users to interact with the video analytics system using everyday spoken language, a substantial departure from traditional methods reliant on predefined criteria and options for object and behaviour detection. With NLS, users can input natural language queries such as "find the red car" or "locate a person holding a black bag," streamlining the search process and enhancing its intuitiveness.
