To design an effective crowd counting and Facial Recognition system whilst being restricted to challenging camera locations to avoid damaging the mosque or distracting visitors from the beautiful architecture.
In 2016 a highly accurate crowd counting and Facial Recognition was installed at one of the largest mosques in the world which attracts more than 5.8 million visitors per year.
The system provides accurate visitor counting data and also detects potential threats who have been pre-enrolled onto the Facial Recognition watchlist.
